Description

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), established in 1956, is a multilateral development bank with a unique social mandate. The CEB works to strengthen social cohesion and build thriving communities in Europe by financing projects that promote inclusive growth, support vulnerable groups and bolster environmental sustainability.

The Treasury & Asset and Liability Management Division (TALM) of the Finance Directorate (FIN) defines the CEB’s investment strategy and manages the financial risks.

TALM optimises the bank’s profitability and supports the Loans & Social Development by executing transactions in a wide variety of financial fixed-income products and investment horizons, negotiating loan prices, hedging market risks that arise from loans and investments and by ensuring the first line of the CEB’s risk management.

TALM is looking for an intern for its Treasury Unit to focus on treasury activities. S/he will report to the Head of the Treasury and work in close collaboration with colleagues in the Unit.
